How to Use in a Routine

not for super sensitive skin
I’ve been a loyal user of differin gel for a few years now and it’s improved my skin greatly so I was excited to receive this face scrub from Influenster. Unfortunately it irritated my skin. I used it three nights in a row and it’s the only new product I’ve introduced into my skincare routine so I know this is the culprit…anyway, my skin is red, irritated and breaking out in tiny bumps all over. It felt nice when I used it and I didn’t notice irritation at first but my skin clearly doesn’t enjoy this. I’m going to try this on the backs of my arms where I have keratosis pilaris and see if I can use it there. So for now this will be a two star review.

As someone who has mild to moderated adult acne, I have quite a few blemishes. This daily brightening exfoliator containing salicylic acid is said to help with blemmishs along with preventing additional acne. This product is gentle enough for daily use with small microbeads. The product is not scented but has a slight smell thats not unpleasant. it leaves the skin feeling smooth. I've been using the product for a month and while my face feels refreshed and cleansed after use, I haven't noticed any changes in my blemishes. I received this product complomentary to test out and would most likely not buy this product in the future.

Decent Product
I’ve been using this product for about a week on a daily basis. I have noticed my skin seems to be a little brighter and a little more even all over. I do not like that on a daily basis use I am noticing some dry skin. So I will from now on only use it a couple times a week. The only thing I guess I really didn’t like is the smell of this product. Which is a big thing for me. It’s seems that it’s supposed to not have a smell but it does and it’s not a great one. I do enjoy the cooling/menthol feel it has to it! I would recommend trying the product for yourself. But the smell is the main reason for only 3 stars.

mediocre, questionable ingredients
When I received this product, I was unsure if I should use it in my face or on my body since the other product released by differin around this time was for truncal acne (back acne). But after reading the ingredients, I decided it would be best used on my body. I did not want to put menthol on my face or the little scrubbing beads. Also it had cetearyl alcohol which causes me to get massive cysts. I used this on my body and the first thing I noticed was that it smelled like strong chemicals like paint remover. It did leave my skin feeling soft and somewhat improved my keratosis Pilaris but I don’t think it’s something that is necessary or something I would even apply on my face

a little too abrasive
I used this for a couple days after receiving my box and I noticed I was getting tiny little micro white heads on my chin and cheeks. I sometimes get those when a face wash or exfoliant is too harsh causing small scratches which then in turn those little white heads appear! This works much better when I mix it in with my face wash to create a bit of a barrier and add more of a smoother product to avoid directly putting the product on my skin alone. Besides that once I mixed it with my regular face wash it really does do a good job! Price is pretty reasonable too which makes it that much better

scrub the day off with this awesome exfoliator, very easy to use. most of the exfoliators I buy come in a tube and I have to scoop it out. this one you can just squeeze the amount into your hand, rag or whatever you use. it's smooth, creamy, and has little exfoliates in it. Leaving your body feeling very clean, and smooth. Helps pull the dead skin off. It's creamy and has a slight little menty feeling. I love it and I'll definitely be using it again. It's always great to exfoliate your skin at least once a week. has a very slight smell not bad and not overwhelming at all. it's a must try

brighter & clearer skin
I have been using the product for almost 2 months and have noticed a positive difference in my skin. I typically get acne around my chin and jaw area, but using this product a few times a week has mostly cleared up these problem areas and made my skin appear brighter. I still get an occasional pimple, but not like before using this product. My skin did go through a detox during the first week, but then I started seeing results. Just a small amount goes a long way. Although I’m not a fan of exfoliating everyday, this product does seem gentle enough for daily use. The one thing I REALLY DISLIKE is the scent - it must be the white tea which I’m not a fan of. You start to get used to it, but it’s still not very pleasant.

Smooth skin….
I wasn’t too sure if I could use this on my face but I read the ingredient list and saw menthol and it’s a no for me. Instead I used this on my legs and arms. It feels really nice on the skin and that has a lot to do with the jojoba beads. It’s a nice consistency & I just apply it onto the palm of my hands and rub my legs and arms. It can be a tad bit drying but I always apply lotion to combat any dryness. The only down side is the menthol but this is a wash off product so it’s not something im too worried about. It’s a great product & I definitely recommend.
